Children and adults alike will be entertained and educated by the Aquarium's own Mascot,
"The Sturgeon General". He will be your special friend here on our website, especially in the "for our kids" section. There he will entertain
all who are young at heart with games and activities that educate as well as stimulate concern about our gift, the Hudson River.
He will also be showcased by using holograms throughout
the Hudson River Aquarium with important lessons on the ecological health of the Hudson River.
He will also be a life-sized, costumed ambassador, bringing messages
for a Healthier River to Aquarium visitors and to special events on behalf of the Hudson River Aquarium. So keep your eyes and ears ready, because you'll never know if you hear a
voice say, "who's in charge", it may be the Sturgeon General!
