My dear friends we are underway to construct the Hudson River Aquarium. We have secured the site in the Town Of Fishkill. I am happy to report that Loan Documents have been finalized, Amortization Schedules have been released and Capital Resource International, underwritten by Cargill Alliance Group, will be funding the Hudson River Aquarium & Aquatic Research Center. With Capital Resources International providing Funding and Technical Support through Royal Ocean Resorts we are truly blazing the trail for success. It is estimated that 300 "Local" jobs will be created during the 18 month construction period. Our community will directly and indirectly benefit financially from these jobs as well at the County, State and Businesses.

Opening is projected to be in the summer of 2005. Because the Aquarium will be visible from I-84 it will be conveniently accessible both to area residents and the millions of tourist who visit the Hudson Valley Region each year. The Aquarium distinctive building design and striking profile within the fresh water marsh will create a strong marine imagery and a total sensory experience.

The 40,000 sq.ft building will contain 24,000 square feet of exhibition space, not including out door exhibits. The Project cost, which includes building construction, site work, furnishings and equipment, aquarium tanks and related systems, exhibits, design and legal fees is projected to be $32 million.
